Motsweding FM has identified a remarkable initiative that fit into what the station is already doing well and what the department of communications and expects SABC to deliver on, playing a development and nation-building role in the South African society. The station will execute Mandela day campaign on-air to enhance brand awareness and engagement, while inspiring all sections of society.
The station will execute a 100 Minutes of aspiring co-hosts campaign with Universities Campus Radio Stations across the Motsweding FM geographic footprint. On the 18th of July 2018 Motsweding FM will launch a 5 months Campus Radio campaign that aims at improving regional and national connectivity; exchanges in expertise and information. A campaign that will offer training in order to improve broadcasting services and in this way Motsweding FM will help the Mother brand to widen horizons for emerging talent.
The station will co-host the prime time shows with Campus radio talents once a month, each inspiring campus radio personalities will get a chance to co-host for 100 minutes with Motsweding FM personalities on all prime time slots. The station will start with the University of North West Radio Campus on the 18th of July 2018 and target other Universities and National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa once a month.
The station will host one University campus Radio personalities per month, for 100 minutes on each prime time channel. The campaign will end on the 07th of December 2018 as a way of celebrating the 100 Mandela Centenary Campaigns.
