2018 marks the centenary of the birth of Nelson Mandela. This provides a unique opportunity for Motsweding FM and people around the world to reflect on his life and times and to promote his legacy. For the month of July 2018 Motsweding FM will seek to create appropriate platforms for such engagement in an entertaining and educative approach.
In the year of Nelson Mandela’s centenary, Motsweding FM will celebrate the places Nelson Mandela touched with his legacy.
Motsweding FM Midday Show will celebrate Nelson Mandela Centenary by visiting places Nelson Mandela touched with his legacy. The Tour will incorporate listeners’ interaction through aspirational prizes.
Tour Contest will award winners a prize of spending a day with Amon Mokoena during the show and an educational tour at all three major museums. The 12h00 to 15h00 show will broadcast live at the Apartheid Museum on the 13th of July and Nelson Mandela House on the 20th of July. Competition winners will get an opportunity to have lunch with Amon Mokoena and the team.
The Robben Island competition offer winners’ an all-expenses paid for trip to Cape Town, inclusive of dinner with Amon Mokoena and an educational tour at Robben Island during the live broadcast of Nna Le Wena show between 12h00 to 15h00 on the 27th of July 2018.
