Motsweding FM proudly reaffirms its position as one of South Africa’s most influential radio stations, delivering dynamic content that informs, entertains, and empowers millions of listeners across the country.

No major changes to the lineup are expected this fiscal year. However, a vibrant and slightly refreshed lineup remains consistent and trusted, as Motsweding FM continues to celebrate the richness of Setswana culture while embracing modern conversations that matter to today’s audience. From engaging talk shows and hard-hitting current affairs to music that moves the nation, the station remains a daily companion to its loyal listeners.

Listeners can look forward to more exciting and vibrant features, which will further deepen our connection with our audience. We are committed to maintaining the voices our listeners know and love, while continuously enhancing the quality and relevance of our programming.

Our ever-energetic breakfast show (06h00-09h00), Thagamoso team remains as is, and listeners of this show should expect exciting features and engagement with the recent addition of the kiddies’ feature, Tlisang Bana’, which aims to test children around life’s issues in a funny and thought-provoking manner.

Kgolo (weekdays 09h00-12h00), hosted by MKP Molebatsi, is a laid-back entertainment and lifestyle magazine show that is geared towards empowering women and men & other “house managers”, children, and the elderly. Content is meant to benefit the entire family through a provocative yet funny, enjoyable, and presentable format.

Our lunchtime show ‘Tadi e a musa’ (weekdays, 12h00-15h00), presented by Amon Mokoena, keeps the day’s momentum with exclusive and genre-inspired music, Tech features, Healthy eating, and Unemployed Graduates features, among others.

The afternoon drive-time show, Diaboa, co-hosted by LTK and Nellicious, is for aspiring young people who want to see change in the world by being the change. The show is engaging, exciting, and very interactive. It’s fast-paced, and yet easy to listen to, with a mixed pot of traffic reports, economic news and indicators, analysis of our political landscape, celebrity/entertainment news, and loads and loads of laughter, madness, silliness, and craziness to make sure the traffic jam doesn’t get the better of you.

Rev. Motone officially joins the growing Motsweding FM family as a contributor on Tsosoloso (20h00-21h00) on Sundays, with Obakeng Moseki as the presenter.

‘’As part of the SABC family, Motsweding FM remains dedicated to public service broadcasting that reflects the heartbeat of the people. The station will continue to innovate while preserving the identity and values that have made it a household name,”, says the SABC Inland Combo Business Manager, Mamontha Motaung.
